Find your perfect backcountry pack

Find your perfect backcountry pack

If your backcountry pack is dialed in when you leave the trailhead it’s a game changer. You’ll move faster and conserve energy to ride stronger when your pack is the right size for the objective and your gear is safely secured on your back.

The Jones pack line includes three different size packs that have feature sets purposefully designed for their intended usage. To decide which pack size would be best for you, consider when you plan to use the pack the most and how much gear you’ll usually need to carry. As expected, smaller packs are best for shorter adventures that don’t require much gear and bigger packs are ideal for longer adventures that demand you carry a full gear kit.

Check out the photos to understand how much gear each pack model can comfortably hold and how they carry gear, then dig into the key features to help pick which pack should be on your back this season.

Deeper 19L

The inbounds, sidecountry and short tour pack

The Deeper 19L pack is a sleek sidecountry and tour pack that's the perfect size for the bare essentials - avalanche rescue tools, water, snacks and a layer. While the Deeper 19L has all the features needed for a true backcountry tour including a helmet holder, adjustable straps for ski or board carry, and even an ice axe loop, it’s also the perfect size for wearing inbounds on high avalanche danger days.
