Where is your favorite place to snowboard and why?
Snowbird all the way! It may be my home mountain, but it is the perfect place for freeriding!
What has snowboarding or the mountains taught you?
The mountains have taught me to be present and appreciate where I'm at in the moment. In most situations the mountains are peaceful and beautiful, but they can quickly change and become extremely dangerous. I’ve learned that it’s important to really pay attention to the things around you when you're out there.
Tell us about one incredible snowboarding achievement or moment.
My greatest achievement in snowboarding so far is winning the 2022 Junior Freeride World Tour. I’ve been competing since I was 11, so it felt amazing to compete and win on such a big stage.
What are you passionate about besides snowboarding?
I really enjoy downhill mountain biking. I feel like it translates very well to snowboarding. You have to be able to pick a good line when the terrain is flying at you.
