Tested on Denali and the Grand Teton, the performance of the Ultracraft has been proven on some of the heaviest splitboard mountaineering achievements on the planet. The Ultracraft features the same trim and powerful shape as the revolutionary Hovercraft but it is built using a carbon topsheet, carbon core inserts and Jones’ top secret ’Ultra Construction’ technology. Ultra Construction trims away grams by eliminating excess materials and reduces overall weight by 25% compared to the Hovercraft Split. Unlike traditional splitboards that are designed around a solid board platform then sliced down the middle, the Ultracraft is also one of the first splitboards produced as two individual skis that are later transformed into a solid board. The fusion of an explosive board shape, featherweight core materials and cutting edge construction technologies has made the Ultracraft the board Jeremy rides when he needs to move fast over technical terrain or climb and ride dawn to dark in his backcountry backyard.

Jeremy Jones’ quest to build splitboards that shred equally as hard as solid boards was one of the founding goals of Jones Snowboards. All seven of our splitboard models are designed to meet that challenge and perform in the backcountry with every bit of the technical precision that our solid boards are renowned for. By sharing the same designs between solid boards and splitboards, we also offer the rare opportunity to master riding one board shape in bounds or out.
Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Magne-Traction improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.

STONE GROUND FINISH
For unmatched glide and wax adhesion we finish the bases of our boards with a stone ground structure pattern that’s race ready in all snow conditions.
All Jones Snowboards are factory tuned, detuned at the tip and tail and factory waxed so you can go from the shop right to the hill.
RECYCLED ABS SIDEWALLS
All Jones boards feature recycled ABS sidewall material.
State of the art strength aluminum tip protectors. Elastomer is bonded to the aluminum to absorb vibrations.
We added 35% more steel than a typical edge, what this achieves is a 250% increase in impact resistance compared to other edges offered on the market today.
All Jones Splitboards exclusively feature Karakoram Hardware.
FLIP FLOP BASE
By flip flopping the base graphic colors, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.
A thin piece of film replaces the traditional plastic topsheet. This eliminates plastic and reduces the weight of the board.

GST’s state-of-the-art factory is a snowboard-only production facility that specializes in working with cutting edge materials and innovative construction techniques. Their focus on strictly controlling every step in the production process has earned GST the lowest warranty rate in the snowboard industry.
But beyond quality of product, what makes GST the perfect partner is both their location and their passion for environmental stewardship. We are able to source 95% of our materials from within 500 km of the factory including steel edges from Germany, woodcores from Slovenia and inserts from Italy. GST’s central location to these premier material suppliers allows us to use less energy and transportation resources than if we were to build our boards in a private factory in the USA and source materials from around the world. Our environmental footprint is even further reduced by GST’s own practices. The company is a pioneer in sustainable ski/board manufacturing as the factory runs on recycled water and green energy.
